Seniors Fantastic 4-day Tour in Lhasa

We had a fantastic 4-day tour in Lhasa specifically tailored for seniors. Tibet Horizon made sure everything was comfortable and accessible. Our guide, Mr. Tseten Namgyal, was patient and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed visiting the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and the monasteries. The Tibet Horizon's attention to detail and excellent service made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

    Thoughtful Service on Seniors' Tour in Lhasa

    We recently returned from a 4-day tour designed for seniors, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we booked, the company's staff was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. They made sure to accommodate our request for a slower-paced itinerary and provided detailed information about the altitude and how to acclimatize. Our guide, Mr. Tenzin Jamphel, was responsible and considerate. He met us at the airport with a big smile and a comfortable vehicle. His deep knowledge of Tibetan history and culture added so much depth to our visits. At the Potala Palace, he made sure we had enough time to rest and take in the breathtaking views. He shared fascinating stories about the Dalai Lama's residence that we would have never known on our own. Seeing the Buddha statue was a spiritual experience, and Lobsang's explanations made it even more meaningful. He guided us through the Barkhor Street at a leisurely pace, pointing out interesting shops and helping us interact with the locals.

    We also visited the two famous monasteries, where we gained a deeper understanding of Tibetan Buddhism. Watching the monks debate at Sera was particularly engaging, and Lobsang made sure we had front-row seats. The agency went above and beyond in terms of service. They provided oxygen canisters, just in case, and our hotel was very comfortable with excellent amenities. They even arranged for a special dinner with a local family, which was a delightful and authentic experience. All of this tour exceeded our expectations.
