We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Tibet Horizon for arranging a 6-day, 5-night tour of Tibet for me and my old hen. They provided us with an experienced and knowledgeable guide, Mr. Tenzin Sherab, whose expertise greatly enhanced our journey. The itinerary they planned for us was perfect, and we experienced no altitude sickness at all. From the breathtaking landscapes of Lulang to the serene beauty of Basumtso Lakein Bomi, and then to the iconic landmarks of Lhasa including the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung Monastery, and Sera Monastery, we were able to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty and rich religious culture of Tibet.

Excellent-choice Tour for Seniors in Tibet: Nyingchi + Bomi + Lhasa

We never imagined that in our 60s, we could experience such a stunning journey. Previously, we had traveled to many places with our family, but now that our children are busy with their jobs and rarely have time to accompany us, they arranged a trip to China for us and our relatives. It was simply exhilarating for us elderly folks. Considering our age, Tibet Horizon suggested a trip from low to high altitudes, which would be more conducive for us to acclimate to the plateau. This turned out to be an excellent choice. Firstly, in Nyingchi and Bomi, we marveled at the breathtaking ecological scenery, especially the Lulang Forest in May, where rhododendrons bloomed across the mountains, and the air was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the songs of birds, reminiscent of a paradise. At Basumtso Lake, we saw many wild animals such as Tibetan antelopes and mountain sheep, surrounded by a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. As we ascended to higher altitudes, on the fourth day, we arrived in Lhasa. We visited the sacred Potala Palace, and the Jokhang Temple, and experienced the genuine warmth and hospitality of the Tibetan people at Barkhor Street. We are truly grateful to our children for arranging this trip for us, and of course, to our guide whose professional insights greatly enhanced our experience. The service provided by Tibet Horizon was excellent, and we are very thankful to them. We highly recommend choosing them for your travels.
